Why this site exists
Morocco Things To Do is an independent English-language travel planning guide focused on one question: how to plan a better trip to Morocco. The site is designed around realistic itineraries, destination guides, transport decisions, budgets and practical travel information rather than a large directory of businesses.
Our goal is to make planning easier. That means explaining trade-offs clearly: when a route is too ambitious, when a train is more practical than a car, when a desert trip needs more time, and which stops naturally fit together.
Jota Zabala
Publisher and editor of Morocco Things To Do. Jota oversees the site’s topic selection, research, editing and updates. The guides focus on route planning, transport choices and practical travel information, and they avoid invented visits, reviews or personal testing.
What we publish
Itineraries
Routes built around realistic travel times, sensible overnight stops and the amount of time available.
Destination guides
Focused guides to the places that deserve substantial coverage rather than thin pages for every town.
Practical planning
Transport, accommodation, budgets, timing and logistics that affect real trip decisions.
Food & culture
Context that helps travellers understand what they will encounter without turning culture into clichés.
How the site is built
The site is intentionally small and selective. We would rather maintain a limited number of useful guides than publish hundreds of thin pages. Content is reviewed as the site evolves, and details that can change are checked against appropriate current sources before publication.
Transparency: when a guide is based on research rather than personal first-hand experience, we say so. We do not fabricate visits, reviews, conversations or personal testing.
